Speaker 1:

Hey friends. So I just wanted to pop in and give you this quick little bonus episode, to give you some quick updates. First things first. Mom's new identity is getting rebrand. If you didn't already see the Instagram post, you'll know that the name is going to be changing from Mom's new identity to Mom's heal humanity and really that's just because I felt like the name Mom's new identity was. It was great at the time, but I think it wasn't quite telling of what the long term vision of this podcast was, and that was really or has been, I should say to help mothers start their own healing journey so that they can be empowered to not only change their own lives but impact other people's lives, plain and simple. And I think that Mom's heal humanity is really kind of. That name is pretty encompassing of that. I felt like it was. I hope that you all think so too. But there's going to be a big shift in social media. So if you followed me on Instagram when the name was Mom's heal humanity, you'll I'm sorry.

Speaker 1:

When the name was Mom's new identity, you'll see that I have since changed it to just Amber Ivana and that's going to be more or less a personal page. You know I may do some, you know, just motherhood related or parenting related content here and there, and that's kind of how I started in this content creation just doing some fun, lighthearted stuff. So I think I need to get back to that because that was fun for me. But regardless, that's going to be more of that page with a little bit of, you know, clips of the podcast and stuff. But the actual Instagram page for that will be moms dot heal dot humanity. And I have since created a Facebook page and I am finally working on a Facebook group. So I'm excited for that Getting all of that situated. I just really have to come up with more or less a photo for the brand and everything like that. So that's going to that's a work in progress.

Speaker 1:

But if you all see the name change and the podcast cover art change before, I don't know, the end of this year or maybe in the beginning of the year. That is why, because I'm going through rebranding, so I hope that I don't get lost in your library. You know like who the heck is this. So I hope I'm giving you all enough advance notice. But come January there's going to be new episodes and I'm working on that now to try and make sure that I'm ahead of the game, but I'm super excited for these changes that are coming and just wanted to remind you all that during the holidays just I guess a friendly reminder or some encouragement is it is okay to set boundaries with your family, it's okay to say no, it is okay to opt out of gatherings if it feels like it's too much, and I really just hope that you all, like I said in my final episode, I hope that you all are really just getting to enjoy your time with your family and make memories.

Speaker 1:

The state of the world is not great, if I'm totally honest. I've had a lot of highs and lows in the last couple of months, I mean just even since recording my last episode. You know, things are just really bleak, if I'm totally honest, and it's depressing and it's really. You just feel hopeless, or at least I know I have. So just want to send you some hugs if you're kind of feeling defeated, if you're feeling hopeless, if you're feeling overwhelmed by what's going on in the world and the Middle East, in Palestine. Really I hate to say it, you know, but I don't hate to say it. The reality is what we're seeing, what's what we're witnessing right now is genocide, and I hope I do not. I Really hope that I don't get censored, because I noticed that my video where I talked about this on YouTube Did not get a lot of views actually Zero views for the first couple weeks, and that is not normal for my videos. So I don't know if I'm being shadow banned or censored, but I'm not gonna sit here and Pretend like that's not what.

Speaker 1:

What's happening. The facts are there, the data is there. If you look up the 10 stages of genocide and Then look into the history and what's been going on in Palestine For the last 75 years, you will see that all the boxes are checked and right now, the stage that we're in of this is denial and unfortunately, there's a lot of media outlets that are trying to say that what's happening is not genocide and it's just not true. So, as much as I hate, like, don't want to, like, throw this on to you guys and, you know, give you something else to worry about I think the the important thing is that if, if we can hold our government accountable to their contribution to such atrocities in another nation, there's no way that they can try and pull those same stunts on us in our own territory, in our own country. So that is why it matters. That is why it's important to speak up. That is why you don't back down. You don't you. That's why you educate yourself, that's why you don't stay complicit.

Speaker 1:

So it's, it's a learning thing. You know, nobody's perfect. You may not always say the right thing. You Might say the wrong thing, you know you might. You don't mess up or, you know, offend someone. But the idea is that I should say really offend somebody who? Or make somebody uncomfortable, because people are like I don't want to talk about politics, but the important thing is that you say something, period. So Let this be some encouragement to you that if you're unsure of how to approach this, it's okay to educate yourself more. But Educate yourself for real, like don't just say you're gonna do it, do it. Go find pages.

Speaker 1:

I'm constantly reposting stuff. If you want to go see a bunch of videos, go look at my tiktok and go look at my reposts. I'm telling you that is flooded with reposts about Palestine and people who are trying to share what's happening and how we can impact change and all of those things. So, I'm sorry, create change. It's not my cat, but my roommate, my, my roommate, stuff down whatever. There's a cat meowing in the background. So if you can hear that, I'm sorry. Anyways, I Think this more or less concludes this little bonus episode, but yeah, I just want to give you all a heads up as to what to expect. And it's coming Year and again, I hope you all have an enjoyable remainder of your year and I look forward to season 2 of Mom's heal humanity. All right, talk to you all soon.
